Students with no previous background in philosophy may take any course up to and including 301. Students must have completed at least one previous philosophy course before taking courses beyond 301. Students must have completed one 300 level course before taking a 400 level course. Courses numbered 501 and above are seminars intended for graduate students. Undergraduates must have the instructor's permission to register for these courses.
