| Description: | The Honors Thesis program is a two-semester sequence of coursework that aids students in developing, designing, executing, and producing original research within the field of sociology. Successful completion of this sequence and the thesis product is required for a student to be eligible for Latin Honors in Sociology. Successful completion of both terms of coursework and completion of a defendable thesis paper satisfies the capstone requirement for the Sociology major. Additionally, students may count three of the six-credit sequence's hours toward the major's upper-level requirements. This course is open to Sociology majors only.
